Downtown Querétaro at night

Last weekend I went with one of my buddies to walk around downtown (along with our tripods) to try and get as many good night shots of the city as we could. We only got to a couple of the spots that were on our list, but we’re gonna try to go again soon!

La Peña de Bernal

At an altitude of 2525 meters above sea level and 288 high, the Bernal Peak is considered the third biggest monolith in the world. It is a beautiful little town, and the hike up to the top is really nice. It is only about a 40 min drive from Queretaro, and it is definitely worth visiting. The views from the top are just amazing!

Family Grad Shoot

My sister’s boyfriend’s brother, Christian, graduated from High School, and here in Mexico instead of having prom like in the U.S., we have formal dinners with the whole graduating class and everyone’s families. Before they took off for the dinner they asked if I could take a couple pictures of everyone, and these are what came out.

Los Arcos 2.0

I decided that I could get an even better shot of los arcos at night, so I parked my car a couple blocks away from them and walked along the whole street looking for a good angle. After a couple failed attempts where car headlights would ruin the picture (since the exposure time was about 12 s), I finally managed to time it right without any cars!

Dog Show (Expo Canina 2012)

So I just got back home to Mexico last weekend, and it has just been amazing to see my family and friends again. A bunch of friends were already graduating, so Friday and Saturday were dedicated to some crazy celebrating. Sunday I spent the whole day with my family and we decided to go to the Dog Show. We mainly went to see the Doberman portion of the show, since we’re looking for a male to breed our beloved Kisha with (and I think its going to be the sepia male thats in the picture to the left), but the whole show was great. There were sooo many crazy breeds and it was just fun to walk around and pet as many dogs as possible haha.
